Memory cards: The Red Komodo uses Cfast 2.0 memory cards. Although not as expensive as the Red Mags used in previous Red cameras Cfast 2.0 cards are not cheap, costing about $450.00 for a 512GB or $700 for 1TB. I offer the following options:

I usually have 2-3 TB available for use. We can use my cards and you can bring your computer and download at the end of the day. Make sure you have a fast computer plenty of drive space or a separate drive. I will then format and re-use the cards next time I need them.

You can supply your own cards. Make sure they are Cfast 2.0 cards as regular CF cards will not work. Used cards are fine but make sure it is ok to format them, erasing all previous footage. Also make sure there are no labels or stickers on them other than the factory labels. Cards can get hot, causing labels to peal off and get stuck in the camera.

You can buy your cards from me at the end of the shoot. I charge only what I paid for them with no mark up.

Rental rates: Lighting and grip rental rates are the same as equipment rates. The package can be customized for your needs. Let me know what you are looking for and for how long and I will get you a price. Insurance covering the replacement cost of the equipment is required for all rentals if I don’t go with the package. All rentals must be paid for in advance or when you pick up the equipment.

Negative cutting prices:

16mm or Super 16.
Conforming to workprint $6. per cut.
Conforming to cut list. $7 per cut.
Black leader $0.50 per foot.
Academy leader negative $20
